The Absolute 48 Coupé — The Absolute Horizon — is the sole model in Absolute's Coupé range and one of the most awarded motor yachts of its generation. Winner of the European Powerboat of the Year 2022 in the powerboats-to-20-metres category, the 48 Coupé combines the bold, sporting lines of a coupé silhouette with an interior volume and cabin standard that has no peer at this length. The concept of the horizon becomes a new, boundless dimension — one where the boundary between the boat and the sea dissolves at every level.
The cockpit is wide and entirely open — no visual barriers, no fixed obstacles. Every inch of outdoor space is reconfigurable, adapting from maximum relaxation to social entertaining at a moment's notice. The glazed balustrades towards the stern give unparalleled views of the sea from both the cockpit and the saloon, while the electrically opening side gunwales allow the sea breeze direct access to the interior. The panoramic windshield and large hull windows create an uninterrupted 360-degree sightline that makes the 48 Coupé feel permanently connected to the water it moves through.
The roof is equipped with integrated solar panels — one of which is transparent, allowing natural light into the saloon without overheating — reflecting Absolute's green shipyard philosophy. At anchor, the 48 Coupé is capable of sustaining hotel loads without the generator running: a meaningful comfort and noise advantage during Mediterranean or Bahamian stops. Twin Volvo Penta D6-IPS650 pod drives deliver 480 horsepower each and push the Coupé to 29 knots with the fuel economy and docking precision that IPS is celebrated for.
