The Riviera 6800 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition is the new flagship of the Sport Yacht collection and one of the most anticipated Riviera launches in years. Created in collaboration with superyacht designer Luca Vallebona — whose usual clients include 50-metre superyachts — the 6800 represents the full expression of Riviera's Sport Yacht philosophy at 72 feet 9 inches. She made her world premiere at the 2024 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show to extraordinary acclaim, and her US debut at FLIBS 2024 resulted in immediate sales.
The 6800 has so many separate entertaining areas that family groups, friends, and couples can find their own space simultaneously. The protected aft deck, the open-sunroof saloon with three lounge areas, the forward deck with twin sunpads and seating for eight, and the sea-level swim platform all operate independently or in concert. A clever electro-hydraulic swim platform articulates into steps and houses a tender cradle with electric winch for effortless launching and retrieval.
Twin Volvo D13 IPS1350 at 1,000hp each deliver 32 knots top speed with the sweet spot at 1,800 rpm and 20.5 knots — returning 451 nautical miles of range with 10% reserve. At displacement speed of 8 knots, range extends to 1,350 nautical miles. Standard equipment includes Humphree trim and stabilisation, CZone digital switching, and Volvo Penta's Assisted Docking system.
