The Riviera 78 Motor Yacht is the most magnificent, most capable, and most luxurious vessel Riviera has ever built. Created in collaboration with Italian superyacht designer Luca Vallebona — the same partnership that produced the acclaimed 6800 Sport Yacht — the 78 Motor Yacht represents more than 35 years of luxury yacht construction and design experience distilled into a single, extraordinary flagship. She made her world premiere on the Gold Coast to extraordinary enthusiasm from the global yachting press.

At 80 feet 8 inches overall, the 78 Motor Yacht is available in two configurations: Open Bridge Deck — the traditional open flybridge with commanding 360-degree views — or Enclosed Bridge Deck — an air-conditioned upper lounge with helm, creating a private second saloon above the main deck. Both versions share the same hull, same engines, and same extraordinary interior quality. The transition between inside and outside is seamless, and the engineering — including Humphree carbon fibre fin stabilisation as standard — ensures comfort in all conditions.

Twin MAN V12 engines in 1,550hp, 1,800hp, or 2,000hp configurations are available. With 10,200 litres of fuel, the 78 can cruise for more than 1,000 nautical miles or deliver speed over 30 knots. At displacement speed of 7.5 knots, range extends to 2,500 nautical miles. This is a yacht built for serious blue-water passages as much as for marina appearances — a genuine ocean-going flagship with the will and the ability to go anywhere.
